| "If I am to raise children who are wise, I need wisdom to pass on to them. ?The Bible says The fear of the Lord is the beginning of Wisdom ?(fear meaning reverence) ?this is where I need to start. ?I need to model a reverence for God, take His commands seriously. But I also must let them see God at work in my life; teaching me truth, convicting me, humbling me, giving me peace and joy, and answering my prayers." |

| Challenge: |
| "Meditate today on what it means to fear (reverence) the Lord. ?Share my thoughts with my children. I need to remember to share more of the personal relationship I have with God with my children. Not through teaching them, but as part of our day to day conversation as we do our regular tasks, run our errands, and share a meal." |

| Prayer: |
| "Lord, teach me to fear and reverence You, increase my understanding of who You are. Help me to never take You for granted, but thankfully acknowledge Your place in my life all the time. ?Lord You are always in my mind and on my mind, but help me to learn to share what I am thinking with my children." |
