Proverb 23:4
~ "Do not wear yourself out to get rich; have the wisdom to show restraint." |
| Thought: |
| "Parenting children is about priorities. We only have so much time and energy. ?If most of my time and energy is spent on having the means to acquire more and more stuff, then little is left over for my children." |
| Challenge: |
| "Assess today what my priorities are, by looking at ?how I spend my time and energy. ?Am I wearing myself out on things that ultimately dont matter, that have no eternal value and take away from the energy that I need for my family?" |
| Prayer: |
| "Lord, help me to assess my priorities. I want them to line up with Yours. As I do this Lord, ?help me to change or let go of the things that dont line up with your priorities for my life right now. ?Oh Lord, if I am going to be worn out at the end of the day, let it be because I have spent myself on the things that matter most." |
