Proverb 25:4
~ "Remove the dross from the silver and out comes material for the silversmith (to use)." |
| Thought: |
| "The silversmith heats the silver, causing the dross (impurities) to rise so that he can remove it. ?Being a wife and a mother causes my dross (impurities and sin) to rise up, so that God can remove them as well. ?Being a wife and mother has revealed the best and the worst in me (i.e. I thought I was a patient person, until I had children!)." |
| Challenge: |
| "When the heat is on and the dross is revealed, give it to the Lord so that He, my Divine Silversmith, can remove it and help me become more like Christ. As the silversmith makes material that he can use, ?my goal is that I can be usable to the Lord." |
| Prayer: |
| "Lord, I want you to use my life for your kingdom. As painful or embarrassing as it is when my dross rises to the top, would You remove it, so that I am someone whose life You can use." |
