Proverb 28:1
~ ""The wicked man flees though no one pursues, but the righteous are as bold as lions."" |
| Thought: |
| "God has built a conscience (the ability to discern right from wrong) ?into us, that I must help develop in my children. ?It will be their inner knowledge of right and wrong. ?It will be there to help them boldly choose to do the right thing when I am not with them." |
| Challenge: |
| "When correcting my child today, take the extra moment to talk about why this is the right thing or that is the wrong thing to do. ?Talk about natural consequences to wrong choices. ?Then give the other side, ?the good consequences to making the right choice." |
| Prayer: |
| "Lord, ?help me not be in such a hurry today as I correct my children, but instead, help me to see and then take the time to talk about the reasons behind the correction. ?Lord give me your eyes, and your wisdom, so that I can really give them valuable truths, ones that will serve them the rest of their lives, ones that will give them the confidence they need to boldy make right choices." |
