Proverb 2:2
~ "Turn your ear to wisdom and apply your heart to understanding." |
| Thought: |
| "I have access to so many resources; books, TV, radio, CDs, DVDs, as well as advice from friends. ?I must listen (or read) carefully (with discernment) so that what I take to heart, is really truth from God's perspective. ?If it is true wisdom (not the worlds counterfeit) it will line up with the truth found in Scripture. ?Only then will it make sense to turn my ear to it, and apply it to my life." |
| Challenge: |
| "Ask God to supply His wisdom, as I need it. ?Listen for those nuggets of truth that can be applied to my life and make a difference. Stay in the Word, always, so that I can discern truth from error." |
| Prayer: |
| "Lord, keep my mind alert to the lessons and the wisdom you have for me. ?Give me the discernment I need to turn my ear toward it and apply only what ?is from You to my heart." |
