Proverbs 7:1b
~ "Store up my commands within you." |
| Thought: |
| "I want the sayings, the principles, the commands that I repeat to my children to be direct application of the Word of God. There is value for their whole life if Gods Word is what governs their thoughts, their choices and their decision making." |
| Challenge: |
| "If Im going to do that, I must take the time to try to memorize the life principles and meaningful verses that I discover in the Bible and then prayerfully try to find ways of introducing them into the conversations I have with my children." |
| Prayer: |
| "Lord, as I study your Word, show me verses that have great principles for life and give me the opportunities to introduce them into our conversations; this doesnt come naturally to me. ?It is my great desire store up your Word within me, help my heart and mind to retain it. ?But even more than that, help me to pass those commands and principles on to my children." |
