Proverbs 8:7
~ ""My mouth speaks what is true, for my lips detest wickedness."" |
| Thought: |
| "We are living in a culture that has both goodness and incredible wickedness vying for our attention all day long. ?It is so important that my children develop godly discernment. ?This is discernment that recognizes wickedness, even when it is masked in goodness and recognizes deception, even when it is clothed in truths and accepted by our society." |
| Challenge: |
| "For my children sake, I need to be on the alert, speaking about truth and right and wrong whenever I am given that teachable moment. I must speak truth to my children, giving them a solid foundation, so that they can discern the lies and wickedness that are competing for their attention." |
| Prayer: |
| "Lord, give me Your eyes of discernment to see the images and TV shows and movies and books that contain wicked and deceitful ideas in them. Ideas that would subtly chip away at the truths that you want my children to believe and live by. ??Then Lord, give me Your Words of truth to speak to my children, whenever I can." |
