Proverbs 16:2
~ ""All a mans ways seem innocent to him, but motives are weighed by the Lord."" |
| Thought: |
| "I cant believe how easily I can justify my ungodly behavior. ?YOU made me mad! YOU frustrated me! ?It is so easy to see myself as the innocent party, even when I am not. To see myself as God sees me, I need the correction of the Holy Spirit. Then His fruit of love, joy, peace, patience, kindness, goodness, gentleness and self-control can grow in me." |
| Challenge: |
| "Ask God to help me see my behavior and motives as He see them, giving Him full cooperation as He gently corrects me, so the fruit of His Spirit may be more fully developed in me." |
| Prayer: |
| "Lord, I no longer want to justify my behavior. ?It is my great desire to have the fruit of Your Spirit grow in my life. ?Weigh my heart and where I am found wanting, help me to see what it is You want me to see, so that I may repent of it and grow in Christ likeness." |
