Proverbs 20:3
~ ""It is to a mans honor to avoid strife, but every fool is quick to quarrel."" |
| Thought: |
| "How many years I lived as a fool, ?so quick to quarrel, ?pick a fight, ?compete with my husband for power and make sure he understood I was right, all the while justifying my actions. ?But God describes all those behaviors as foolish. ?When He gets ahold of our lives, He doesnt let us stay in that lost, ?foolish condition. He gently changes us, helping us to understand how to do life His way." |
| Challenge: |
| "When I see a potential for strife coming my way, I will ?choose to avoid it. ?I am so grateful for the change in character, for the desire He has grown in me to avoid strife, and for the ability to turn away wrath with gentle words." |
| Prayer: |
| "Thank you Lord for the changes you have made in my life. I know my husband and children are grateful for them. ??Lord, continue to conform me to Your image. ?Help me to do this with a spirit of cooperation and submission to Your life transforming power." |
