| "As a parent I must protect and preserve my childs innocence on one side and teach them to be wise, and have good judgment on the other. ?Jesus calls us to be innocent as sheep and wise as serpents." |

| "I need to exercise discernment and know when my children are ready to hear about some of the bad things that exist in the world [pedophiles, rape, drugs, dangers on the internet, etc] , so that they can see when and where there is danger." |
|

| Prayer: |
| "Lord, help me discern when my child is ready to hear about bad things for their own protection and safety. And then help me to teach them in a way that will both protect them and help them avoid danger themselves." |
