Proverbs 26:12
~ ""Do you see a man , wise in his own eyes? ?There is more hope for a fool than for him."" |
| Thought: |
| "No one likes a know it all. We can build our children up to the point that they are totally self-focused. Are my children growing up thinking the world revolves around them? Do they think their opinions are more valuable than any others, or what they want to do is most important?" |
| Challenge: |
| "There is such a fine line between self-esteem, self-confidence and a self-focused life. ?God wants us to prefer others over ourselves and to do unto others as we would want them to do unto us. If God wants us to have a true estimation of who we are, how do I help my child see themselve in an accurate, God focused way?" |
| Prayer: |
| "Lord, I have more questions than answers. ??How I need Your wisdom and guidance to raise my children. ?Please help me walk the fine line between building my child up and over doing it. ?Help me to raise them, not only to think of others, but to love others well. ?Help me to raise them, not only being able to express themselves and their opinions, but to learn to draw others out." |
