Proverbs 8:8
~ "All the words of my mouth are just; nothing is false or misleading." |
| Thought: |
| "Can my husband and my children trust that I always speak truthfully, that I would never say anything that would even be misleading? ?When I mete-out punishment or discipline is it always completely just? Do I take the time to get to the truth and make sure that I judge correctly?" |
| Challenge: |
| "Commit to always speaking the truth in love. ?In order to do this, when I have something important to say, I must take the time to pray, asking for the right heart and words to communicate the truth. ?When my children need discipline, now that they are older, I must take the time to listen, pray and ask for discernment, before I judge." |
| Prayer: |
| "Lord, it is my desire to always speak the truth in love, so that I am a person who is known for my integrity. ?Lord, please give me the patience and the self control to hear my children out when they need correction, so that if discipline is required, they will know that they are receiving the loving discipline that they need." |
