Proverbs 11:3
~ "The integrity of the upright guides them." |
| Thought: |
| "Integrity: Incorruptibility. ?Oh, how important this is for children (well, all of us) these days. ?The culture is so corrupt and it pushes its point of view (via all forms of media) into our minds as much as we allow. ?Only an intentional effort can keep us from succumbing to its overt as well as subliminal messages, values and agendas." |
| Challenge: |
| "My personal challenge is to be alert ?to my own thoughts, values and integrity, so that I can be not only an example, but ?the ? watchman on the wall for my children. ?How can they be incorruptible if I am not vigilant first? How can a young man keep his way pure? By living according to your word. [Ps 119:9] If I am to be a woman of integrity, I must be a woman of Your Word." |
| Prayer: |
| "Oh Lord, continue to make me the person that You want me to be. ?It is my desire to be a woman of integrity, renew my mind as I study Your word. ?As I begin this New Year, give me a voracious love and passion for You and an unquenchable thirst for Your Word. Let my children see in me, an integrity that they would desire for themselves." |
