Proverbs 14:7
~ ""Stay away from a foolish man, for you will not find knowledge on his lips."" |
| Thought: |
| "Do I listen to the counsel of friends that are not very familiar with God and His ways? I need to make sure that I have friends in my life that are wise, which means their wisdom comes from and lines up with God and His Word. ?In the same way, I need to make sure that I would never counsel my friends in a way that is contrary to Gods Word." |
| Challenge: |
| Being familiar with Gods Word will give me the discernment I need so that I do not listen to foolish counsel. How am I doing? Am I consistently reading and studying His word? It must be a priority in my life. Stay on track. |
| Prayer: |
| "Oh Lord, give me such a thirst for Your Word and for intimate time with You, that I stay consistent in my Quiet Time. ?Draw me close, teach me, and give me insight. ?Help me to hear Your still small voice in the quiet moments I set aside with You. True knowledge, wisdom and counsel come from You." |
