| "Its so easy for me to be the talker but I truly want to become a person that draws others out, especially my husband and children. ?I need to make sure I am a safe person to talk to; slow to criticize and correct, but quick to encourage and care for the other person." |

| Challenge: |
| "Concentrate on being quick to listen and slow to speak. Put it in the front of my mind to ask good questions, ones that they just cant say yes or no to, ones that help them discover what they are thinking and feeling." |

| Prayer: |
| "Oh Lord, you know this is constantly a challenge for me. ?Please help me to focus on listening to others, drawing them out and helping them feel heard, ?understood and loved." |
