Proverbs 27:4
~ "Anger is cruel and fury overwhelming" |
| Thought: |
| "I know that I am least effective in my parenting when I react in anger. ?The more consistent I am, the less likely to be angry. ?When my children know where the line is, know there are consequences and willfully cross it action is taken immediately with the crossing. The outcome from this is; my anger does not build up and they are less likely to choose crossing the line the next time." |
| Challenge: |
| "Stay diligent today, dont be a lazy parent saying you do that one more time and (which of course they will). When I parent like this, I am easily pushed to anger. Communicate clearly and then act when necessary." |
| Prayer: |
| "Lord it takes so much energy to be consistent, give me Your energy and Your eyes to see what is important and when to act. ?Keep this in the front of my mind so that in my laziness I am not pushed to anger. ?Help me to be an effective parent." |
