| "This is how God deals with me; therefore I should extend this same grace to my child. ?It is truly what I am after; a repentant heart and the determination not to repeat the offense. (Though as humans we fail again and again, dont we?) ?My child needs a safe, loving relationship with me in order for this to work." |

| Challenge: |
| "When a line is crossed today, talk about it, talk about why it is important. (Of course this gets a little easier to do as they get older) Try to be a loving, safe place to talk these things through, only then can I discover if there is true repentance." |

| Prayer: |
| "Lord, soften my childs heart toward repentance. ?Give me the wisdom I need; to know when to discipline and when to show mercy." |
