Proverbs 20:3
~ ""It is to a mans honor to avoid strife, ?but every fool is quick to quarrel."" |
| Thought: |
| "Every time my children quarrel, it makes my heart sick. ?But I need to remember I teach strongest by example. ?How often do they see a quick quarrel arise with my husband? ?I want to model for my childrens sake; ?avoiding strife, choosing peace, caring more about the other person and the relationship than being right. . . not ?being quick to quarrel." |
| Challenge: |
| "Every day, I must remember that I am modeling for my children. Let them see me avoid strife, not self indulge in a quarrel. Let them instead, see me deliberately choosing the path of peace." |
| Prayer: |
| "Oh Lord, it is so natural for me to be quick to quarrel over stupid little things. ?Help me, through the power of Your Spirit, choose peace and choose to love rather than asserting my rightness and quarrelling over it. ?Help me become a mother worthy of honor." |
